The Donald Chronicles, #41 – Mar. 16, 2017

**Sen. Bernie Sanders on President Donald J. Trump: “The day is going to come when some tragedy is going to befall our country and the world, and people are not going to believe this President”.

Trump’s claims of being “wiretapped” by Obama remain completely unsupported, and various Congressmen are saying so.

Trump seems perfectly ready to take away Medicaid, despite his promises to the contrary.

Trump’s proposed budget calls for doing away with “Meals on Wheels”, for old folks, and plenty of other services for the poor, needy and elderly. He’s just such a complete prick!

So, I am ready for a break from Trump, and that break starts this coming Monday, when Kathy, I, my son Ethan and wife Flo, and others, launch a 7-day river trip through the Salt River Canyon Wilderness, in Arizona. Sandy beaches, green grass, saguaros, spring wildflowers, warm temps, whitewater, all kinds of birds, ocotillos … and no “devices”. We’ll be completely out of touch for 7 days.

I will resume posting sometime after our return, on the 26th (unless, of course, the world has gone up in smoke)
