This afternoon, I drove up the road from Taos Junction Bridge to the rim, in the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. I was hoping to spot the large herd of Bighorn sheep that I had encountered on my prior drive up the road. Here’s the link to that post:

They were not on the top, and as I descended, I saw them below me, on the bench that is traversed by the Vista Verde trail. The main group was a good distance away, but I also saw a female and youngster on the talus closer to me.
These photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix P900 Superzoom camera.
