Spring Wildflowers #5 – Embudo, NM


The claret cup hedgehog cactuses continue to bloom – different varieties at different times. Here’s a mound claret cup that’s out in front of our house. It’s just getting started. There will be many more flowers on this guy before it’s done.

The wild irises are beginning to show up, but this isn’t a wild variety. It’s just too pretty to pass up.
