The “Bav”

Throughout the many years that Kathy and I taught skiing at Santa Fe Ski Basin, we always enjoyed having an Optimator beer at Totemoffs, in the company of our skiing friends and fellow instructors.

Then we moved up the road, and commenced teaching skiing at Taos Ski Valley. Now we have another source of good beer – the “Bav” (the Bavarian Restaurant). It’s located close to the base of #4 lift, and enjoys great afternoon sun. Here’s a Hefeweisen on the left, and an Optimator on the right. These are the medium size glasses of beer. You don’t dare order the large size.
