Happy Holidays!

Don’t you know that God is Evolution? We have ever-vigilante Natural Selection to thank for all our blessings. It has shaped us (and continues to shape us) to be in perfect accord with the world we live in (and sometimes each other). I’m grateful for this gift, and know that you are too. Thanks Natural Selection, and thanks to you, for all that you do.

Kathy and I will head south in a few hours, our destination Sierra Vista, AZ. What’s there? The grandchildren, of course! And, on the way, we intend to stop and visit for a few minutes with the Sandhill cranes at the Bosque del Apache. They honked at us as they flew overhead, a few weeks ago. What better exemplars of the beauty of wild nature can one find? I’m especially pleased that cranes can still be seen and heard in the sky, and have a protected place to spend the winter.

Best wishes from Kathy and myself.
